Sustainability, Resilience, and Infrastructure
in the Global South
Almost evidently, the fastest-growing areas will emerge in the Global South, where the status of urban theory is still developing. Poverty, as a root of many urban issues, limits the approach to illustrating acceptable resolutions among the challenging environments that could present. I learn from cities in the Global South by exploring the meaning of sustainability, resilience, and infrastructural interventions among ordinary communities, hoping to further new generational governance and planning practices from within.
